Dance IS the best therapy!
This is a phrase I use A LOT! Then it got me to thinking, maybe others feel the same way too? I know that during a class I am concentrating on the moves (and trying to remember what comes next!) and I forget about any of the peripheral ‘stuff’ in my head.
Dancing bolsters physical and mental health by helping to prevent falls, improve posture and flexibility, lift mood and ease anxiety. It's also a fun activity that sharpens the mind, increases aerobic power and strength, builds social bonds, and can reduce pain and stiffness.
What’s not to love?!!
